December 24, 1986 – June 1, 2015
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the unexpected death of our beloved son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend, Myles Peter Petrovich. Myles was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and relocated to Victoria with his mother Vanessa at age 4. He was compassionate, highly intelligent, loving, well-read and good humored. He loved BMX, animals, reading, socializing, and being outdoors. He is greatly missed, and dearly remembered by all who knew and loved him. Myles died in his sleep on the morning of June 1st. Left to mourn his death is his mother Vanessa, his father Lou, stepfather Danny Costain, Nana Emma, Uncle and Godfather Tony, Uncle Peter (Charlene), Aunt and Godmother Wendy, and Aunt Teresa (Jack); cousins, Parker, Kelly, (Claudio) Trisha, Peter, Jennifer (Martin) and Jaclyn (Bart) of Winnipeg; Uncle Kim (Judy) of Charlottetown; Uncle Lucian and cousins Luke, Jasmine and Kimberly of Boston (U.S.). Myles was predeceased by his Papa, Peter Petrovich of Winnipeg, and his Pepe Mark Le Roux, and Nanna Peta Le Roux of Victoria.
A memorial and reception will be held at McCall’s Funeral Home, Johnson & Vancouver Streets, in Victoria B.C. on Thursday June 11th at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to http://brokenpromisesrescue.com.

Shirley Witczak I didn’t know Myles well but did meet him a few times in his high school years. He and our son Daniel were friends in Cedar Hill and Vic High and they often spent time riding together on their BMXs. Our heartfelt condolences for your loss.
