October 24, 1945 – March 8, 2014
Noni passed away peacefully on March 8th at home surrounded by her family and friends. Noni was many things to many people but her passion in life was her family. She is survived by her tall, dark and handsome husband, Bill, her incredible children, Bethany, Justin, Jeremy, Craig and Gorana, and her cherished grandchildren, Jonah, Shelby, Taya and Max. The family wishes to thank all of Noni’s family, friends and caregivers for their tremendous support over the last year. She will be forever loved and missed. Her generous spirit and beautiful soul will continue to enrich the lives she touched.
A Celebration of Life will take place in Hatley Castle at Royal Roads University on Sunday, April 13 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the BC Cancer Foundation in support of Immunotherapy Research. Condolences may be offered to the family below.

Andrea Nelson I have such fond memories of Noni starting back when I was just a young girl. She was such a role model for me as I grew up behind her watching and evying her grace and beauty. When Bill came into her life I was in awe of their relationship and love throughout the years. She was such a special lady, wife, mother, sister, grandmother and daughter. I feel priviledged to have known her and will miss her greatly. To her family and husband, time is your best ally, be patient, cry when you have to, but don’t forget to laugh and smile when you remember the good times and there were so many. Ken & Wendy Evans Bill, Its hard to put into words our thoughts at a time like this even though we knew it was coming. Noni was such a special person in different ways to such a large number of people, and we will always have special memories of the times we spent together with both of you.
I m sure that it is a tough time for you now, I can’t even begin to imagine what you are going through, but know that in time it will get easier for you.
We are out of the country right now but be assured we will be there to help celebrate Noni’s life on April 13th

Charles and Doreen Borden This is somewhat difficult to approach in your sad time, and I rather hesitate to speak of such a thing however I feel I want to ask..trusting it won’t be an intrusion. Many years ago my husband found a watch on the Swartz bay ferry. The inscription was “Completely Noni “.We watched the lost and found for ages but no response. I just saw the announcement in the paper and felt I should respond. Please e-mail if you care to.

Jill Armstrong I would like to express my heartfelt sadness for your incredible loss. Her words of sympathy to me when I lost my beloved husband, Mike 3 1/2 years ago were the ones I used in his memorial service and the ones that brought me peace as they described him perfectly.
