Passed away suddenly at his home in Victoria, BC on December 20th. Born in Stratford, Ontario he is survived by his wife of 50 years, Trudy, and their two sons, David (Jennifer) and John. Bill will be greatly missed by brothers, Dave (Alyn) and Paul (Cheryl) and extended family. Bill graduated from University of Toronto Engineering in 1965 and enjoyed a 28-year career at IBM where he built many lifelong relationships. Upon his retirement, he pursued a second career as a property development entrepreneur. Bill will be fondly remembered for his passion for life, learning and investing. Bill and Trudy enjoyed their frequent European trips and participating in various coffee groups at their homes in Victoria and Stratford where business, politics and sports were actively discussed. He will be remembered for his positive outlook and high standard of integrity in all aspects of life.
A private gathering will be held in Bill’s memory at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local Cardiac Care Unit.
