Dear Sheila and all the MacDonald Clan,

What a kind and gentle man we have lost with the passing of Bill. His charm as a host at the cottage and wisdom as navigator and sailor in the Rusty Rudder Regatta will be forever remembered. He was a mentor to us all and we are so glad for the many sunny days we shared on Horse Island. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Looking forward to seeing you once again at the cottage, where Bill's spirit and quiet smile will aways be with us.

Dear Sheila and family:

Don and I were so sad to hear of the passing of your "beloved Bill". What great memories we have of our boating days in Georgian Bay with 'Wings of a Dove'.

If only words could comfort,
If only hearts could share
the burden of your sorrow
this loss beyond compare......
Today the “if’s seem endless
and certainties so few.
But memory lasts forever....
The love you shared will, too.

Just know you're very much in our thoughts Sheila at this very difficult time. We also shared & enjoyed memories of our common interest in the Galt area.

Love Shirl & Don Harrold

I read of Mr. MacDonald's death in The Record, Kitchener. Bill MacDonald was my first boss when I went to work after university, in the office at Dahmer Steel in Kitchener, more than 40 years ago. He was the Comptroller @ Dahmers and I remember him well as being kind and professional. He was proactive and progressive too - introduced a huge main frame computer when companies were not computerized, supported staff development , introduced efficient and effective business systems. He was respected and well liked by all and was a true gentleman. Sincere sympathy to all family and friends. Eleanor Mueller

Dear Sheila & family - My memories of you and your young family as good neighbours at Hillcrest/Highland in Cambridge are now remembered. Many cups of coffee together so many years ago! Know that you were not forgotten and my thoughts are with you at this time of the loss of Bill.

Dear Joan and family,
We are both very sorry to learn of your Dad's passing. I remember him as such a gentle man and gentleman, always with a smile and kind words. His support of our musical endeavours was always obvious as was his pride in you and in your family. I am honoured to have known him.
You all continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. With love and sympathy..Art and Pat

Dear Sheila and Family;

Please accept our sincere sympathy at this most difficult time. We treasure the many good times we spent with you and Bill in Waterloo, Wiarton, Horse Island and many wonderful spots on Georgian Bay.

Bill had an amazing love of life and family that was evident everytime we met. Bill was a role model in many ways (as are you Sheila).. not so much by what he said, but how he lived.

Our thoughts are with you and your family.

Love,

Kay and Al Hunter
