Vera was born in Bolton, Lancashire, England. She is survived by Duncan, her husband of 63 years; sister, Iris; son, John Pennington and his family – Diane, Christopher, Jeffrey and Stephen and her daughter, Janet Trotter and her family – Ted, Tyrone, Paula, Colton, Ryland and Fiona.

Memorial Reception will be held at McCALL’s SEQUOIA GARDENS MEMORIAL, 4665 Falaise Drive, on Tuesday January 10, 2012 at 1:00 PM. Cremation and interment entrusted to Royal Oak Burial Park. Condolences may be offered to the family below.
