Passed away peacefully at Saanich Peninsula Hospital on March 14, 2014 at the age of 89 years. She was born in Victoria on February 27, 1925. Predeceased by her husband, Walter and lovingly remembered by her son, Watty; grand-daughter, Jessica; sister, Joan; brother-in-law, Ted; niece, Sandra and nephews, Jim, Joe and Ian. A special thanks to the staff of Saanich Peninsula Hospital, the Emergency Room, Acute Care Ward and Extended Care Unit. Also, a special thanks to Dr. Jim Forrester.

Dear Watty and family,
I first worked with your mom at Eatons in 1952. She was the assistant mgr. of ladies wear and I worked in the office. We had such a good time. She left for Nanaimo and I left to have babies. We have corresponded for birthdays and Christmas’s ever since and have had wonderful ‘catching up’ phone calls.
I send my deepest sympathy to you and your family. I will miss chatting, laughing and sharing memories with her.
