A big thanks to the great care team at Victoria Hospice and the VIHA team who helped care for Sandra at home.  Also, thanks to the Campbells and Bucholtzs who visited and helped with Sandra’s care and the kind friends who brought us treats and checked on Sandra.

    Dear Fred,
Anne and I were very sorry to hear of Sandra’s passing and we would like to offer our sincere condolences to you and your family. I will remember with fondness the way the teapot was produced by Sandra on my many visits with you both and I will miss her direct sense of humor which always made me smile..
Sandra cared for the well being of others she was a good customer of Anne’s at the store and I know that concern for others will have been offered to all who knew her.
She was a caring and good person who we will miss and our thoughts go out to you Fred who we know has lost a lifelong partner.

    Dear Uncle Fred:
We are heart broken that you have lost your wife and best friend.
Aunt Sandra accepted her illness with grace. She was so grateful to
you for your loving care for the past year.
I will always cherish the time I spent with her in Oct. I regret not being
able to get back to Victoria to be with the both of you again.

Auntie is at peace and in a good place. We pray for God’s help and
family and friends to support you in your loss and the grieving process. Love always, Jean & Ellwood
