    Mr. Brennan:
I am so sorry to learn from Chris of your wife’s passing and wish to extend my sincere sympathies to you.
Many years ago, I had the pleasure of meeting both of you while visiting with your son Chris from Fort McMurray. You welcomed me graciously into your home and treated me as one of your family.
On a subsequent visit, I became very ill and your wife lovingly nurtured me as I’m sure she did with both Chris and Carolyn over the years. I remember with fondness the warmth she shared with me – a complete stranger – and assume that this was the way that she lived her life, giving to those around her.
Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers as you continue on without this very special woman in your life.

    Sincerely,
    Georgia Gander

Dear Uncle Ed, Chris, Carolyn and Family,
Our deepest sympathy, to all of you, in your loss of Aunt Pauline. May fond memories bring you peace and comfort in the days ahead. I regret that circumstances never allowed a trip out to B.C. to visit. I cherish the few memories I have of Aunt Pauline and your family from years ago. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
    Sincerely,
Gordie, Darlene, and Family, Denise and Family.

Ed, my dear friend, my sincerest condolences to you and your family as you mourn the loss of your loving wife Pauline. Although I did not know her well, I knew she loved you very much and her family was precious to her.

I am sending my condolences to Uncle Ed, Chris and Carolyn and your families. My thoughts go out to you in this time of sorrow. Although I did not know Aunt Pauline well, and had not seen her for years, one day she contacted me in Vancouver and I found out she was living in Victoria. Since that time, we spoke several times on the telephone and exchanged cards and good wishes often. I really appreciated her support when my father (her brother George) was very sick. Her words were so comforting and insightful. She really was special.

I married into the family when Pauline was thirteen years old. I regarded her as my younger sister — we had such great times together, during your visits over the years. I was always happy to see her, and pleased to have her not only as a sister-in-law, but a very dear friend. Many wonderful memories will stay with me forever.
Pauline……when you meet your brother (and my dearly departed) John, tell him I still miss him greatly. You both are now in God`s eternal loving care…….
Ed and family…….my deepest sympathies to you……..keep her in your hearts and prayers forever, as I will……..

    Ed, Caroline, Chris and family,

I am very sorry to hear of Pauline’s passing, she was such a nice lady. I always felt welcome in her home as a young lad growing up in Edmonton, even though I am sure I contributed to a few sleep disturbed nights, thanks to Chris and I. I will always remember her grace.

I am mourning the loss of not only my dear Aunt but also a dear friend. Over the past few years since moving to Victoria, I have shared many wonderful conversations with Aunt Pauline and am blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know her in this manner. A beautiful, elegant, gracious lady with a gentle, down to earth personality and terrific sense of humor.
My prayers, thoughts and love to you Uncle Ed, Chris, Caroline, Kayla, Brayton and Riley~

Dear Uncle Ed, Chris, Carolyn & Families,
It is with great sadness we received the call of Auntie Pauline’s passing. Even though it is years since we have seen you, her notes and cards always kept us connected. As my godmother I remember her gentle loving nature& that smile with a sometimes mischevious twinkle in her eyes. We’re sure that this time is most difficult for all of you but I like to think that she is being welcomed home by my mom & other brothers & sisters- an “eternal” family reunion (which they all loved.) Our thoughts & prayers are with you. Much love to all of you.

    So sorry for your loss
still think about the last time i saw Ed and Pauline when
i spent a great evening with them in Victoria a few years back.
hadn’t seen them in years, and they made me feel like it had only been days.
sad to think that the last of the brothers and sisters are gone but i like to think they are all together somewhere sitting around a bonfire singing songs and laughing like the old days on the farm.
