I was sadden to hear of Ken’s passing, I met him when I became old enough to join the VCC seniors league 6 years ago. He was one of the few guys that didn’t give me a bad time about wearing my rider colours while on the ice. After he found out my dad and I were born in Sask we would sit and talk and he would tell about his days of growing up there. I found him a truly enjoyable person and I am sure he will be greatly missed.
At this time also on behalf of all members past and present of the Seniors curling league I also would like to pass on the condolences to all of the family.

Dear Wendy and family….So sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. He was my first boss, at Capital Iron, and set the bar very high! I look back at those days with great joy. With you in sorrow, in the coming days.

The fishing up at Camble river, staying at the Big Rock motel and on Sunday mornings with Bill and Ken before the soccer games.

Wendy, Linda and family — your dad was truly a kind and gentle man, whether as my ‘boss’ at Capital Iron, or as your dad offering sage advice to us growing up. A life well-lived indeed. Love to all, Terry

Dearest Wendy & Bill, Kelly & Michelle, (Linda and Bill) and family,
It is with great sadness I share your sorrow, for your father was one of a kind, a true gentle-man, and friend to all, including the 4-legged kind. I know you will all miss him very much. I will miss him also as we continue our friendship through the coming years. I always enjoyed our visits and his stories of Saskatchewan. I truly hope and pray all your wonderful memories, will bring you much comfort in the quiet hours.
    Much love to you,
    Cheryl Pardue
