The family is sad to announce Peggy’s passing on October 23rd 2010 . She was 92 but young in mind and spirit. She was born and raised in Victoria, B.C. She was predeceased by her parents, Wesley and Gypsy Moore; her husband Walter F. Steele (Wally) and his parents, Vera and Albert Steele; sisters, Phyllis Bestwick (Bill), Audrey and Sturdee Arden; nephews, Ray Arden, Richard Bissett and niece, Diane Arden; stepson, Michael Steele and brother-in-law, Richard Bisset Sr. Peggy is survived by her daughter, Dare and grandson, Justin; stepdaughter, Diane Tyson; her youngest sister, Lois Bisset; Judy and Derek Perkins, Mark, Val and Tim Bisset and Michelle and Mike Bisset; friends, Phyllis Boklage, Marie Ackerman, Mini Kirk, Sandra and Peter Mathews, Ben and Florence and Joan, Mike and Jill Phillips. In 1940, Peggy volunteered as an ambulance driver for England in WWII. She gave her all to that cause and loved England dearly. Dare & Justin:

We are all so sorry to hear of Mrs. Steele’s passing. We want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers through this difficult time. We hope that you will find strength and comfort through family, friends and your most treasured memories.

We feel privileged to have known Mrs. Steele throughout the years. I especially feel privileged to have had her as an ‘adopted grandmother’. We loved her very much and will miss her.

If there is anything that we can do for you please do not hesitate to ask.

Love, Grant, Debbie, Marie and Colin Sandeman-Allen
