Sequoia Gardens’ Manager: Dean Freer

Dean was born in Trail, British Columbia and raised in Victoria where he completed his high school education and Lambrick Park Secondary School in 1987. Starting his career with McCall Bros. Funeral Directors in the fall of 1988, Dean attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology where he graduated from the Mortuary Science program as a licenced funeral director and embalmer.

During the summer of 1998, Dean worked closely with David McCall in the design, layout and construction of Sequoia Gardens Memorial where he serves as Manager.

Dean now resides with his family in the local community of Shawnigan Lake, BC.
