October 13, 1930 – June 13, 2015
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother Claire on Saturday, June 13, 2015 in her 85th year of life. Mom had a great spirit and love for her family. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Bill (2009); parents and sister, Helen. She is survived by her sons, Brent (Jocelyn), Dean (Dianna) and daughter, Carolyn (Al) Van Somer; sister, Brenda Maggs; granddaughters, Deanna and Ashley and great-grandson, Mason.
The family wishes to thank Dr. McGhie of the BC Cancer Agency, the staff of the Nurses Next Door and the staff of Victoria Hospice. At the request of the family, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Victoria Hospice Society. Condolences may be offered to the family below.
