September 13, 1943 – March 11, 2014
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father and papa after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Rudy leaves behind his loving wife Sheila of 47 years, his two daughters Marcie (Randy Unger) and Sandy, and three grandchildren Sarah, Spencer and Naomi. Rudy was born and raised in Winnipeg and graduated from the University of Manitoba in Engineering in 1966. After many years of civil engineering he moved on to home building, which was his joy. His memory will be held in the highest regard, by his family, friends and coworkers as a well liked, honest and patient man, but most of all for his great sense of humour and quick wit.
A memorial service (reception to follow) will be held on Saturday, March 22 at 1:15pm at Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, 798 Goldstream Ave, Victoria, BC (Langford, BC). In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice. Condolences may be offered to the family below.
