Peacefully on April 29, 2009 at his home in Victoria, 78. Predeceased by his wife, June Elaine, he is survived by his loving extended family. Private cremation. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.

    This is a message for the children of Roy Conibear. He and his wife June Elaine were friends of mine for over 35 years, though we eventually lost touch. I have wanted to find June’s children because when I saw her and Roy in Toronto in about 1995 I made a tape recording of June talking about her life. If they would like a copy, I would like to send it to them. My heartfelt condolences to Roy’s family at this time. I thought of both Roy and June Elaine many times over the years and miss them so very much.
