1951 – 2015
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Rosa Yin Ping wan on May 16, 2015 in Victoria BC. Rosa is survived by her beloved husband, Peter Wan, son, Steve Wan, daughter-in-law Sarah Wan and granddaughter Emma Wan. She courageously came from Holland on her own to Canada, following her husband Peter. Starting with nothing, they built a life together and raised their family across Alberta and finally settling in Victoria. She was a devoted wife and mother and celebrated the success of her family with joy.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Parish on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 11:00AM with a reception to follow in the Parish basement. For those wishing to attend a viewing before the Funeral Mass, it will be held in the foyer from 10:00AM – 10:30AM. Condolences may be offered to the family below.
