  4. Annie and Bill Walsh says:

Sherrill and boys: We are so very sorry for your loss. We were just talking about you both last week as we drove by the Fish and Game Club, wondering if you were still living there. We had some great times together back in the Good Old Stage West days. Rod had the voice of a angel. I hope his voice is heard loud and clear in Heaven where he is undoubtedly singing away with the rest of the angels. Sherrill, I hope you find comfort and peace. With our deepest condolences. Bill and Annie

    Sherrill and sons:

I was saddened to hear of Rod’s passing. I have told many people at BC Ferries Head Office that he has passed. We are now remembering his stories, humor and the kind, gentle voice that was his trademark. There are many people here at BC Ferries that liked him very much. I wanted to send a note of sympathy to his family. Our thoughts are with you at this time.

  7. David Colin Campbell says:

I was quite shocked to hear of Rod’s passing. I knew Rod from way back in the “Trinity” days of the 1970′s. I found out from the Jerusalem Vistas partnership letter where his sister Meridel along with her husband Jay are the editors. I was however comforted in knowing that Rod is in a better place – with Yeshua. The poem He had written several days before his passing was a blessing to read – especially the lines.
“Come dear one to find my rest
Hear my voice and know your calling
I long for you the very best”
My sincere condolences to Rods immediate and extended family
