Robert John Pratt
It is with profound sadness and disbelief that we say goodbye to Bob, our best friend, dedicated husband to Wendy for 41 years, caring Dad to Ed (Rosanne) and Jeff (Lisa) and adoring Grandpa to 4 bright lights. On October 29, 2009, Bob, age 64, was at home puttering away as he loved to do when he suddenly and peacefully left us way too soon. Bob was a free spirit who touched many people’s lives and will be missed by all who knew him.
We celebrate Bob’s kind and generous life on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 2:00 pm in MCCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson & Vancouver Streets. Please join us and remember to bring your best “Bob” stories. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favourite charity.

Dear Wendy, Ed and Jeff:
I was real sorry to hear about Bob’s passing. I remember when Ken and I spent many fun times with you and Bob. Remember our Transendental Medication days? What a hoot!
I will always remember Bob helping me with small house problems after Ken died. Even with his bad back, he was always willing to give me the help I needed or some advice. He was one of the good guys and will be missed by all that knew him.
My prayers and thoughts are with you and the boys. Nancy
Wendy, Ed, Rosanne, Jeff, Lisa and family,
I was shocked to hear this terrible news and feel great sorrow for your loss. Wendy, I am happy that you have the support of your loving family and you were all able to spend this time together for Bob. You and Bob are a wonderful couple and have done an impressive job raising your family together.
I am sorry that I missed Bob’s memorial yesterday and send you and your family my sincere condolences.

During a lifetime, circles of support form from the network of connections made. Thanks to people from across Canada and at various locations in the world for reaching out. Your kind thoughts were greatly appreciated, as were the cards, phone calls, emails and messages on various social networks. We were very grateful for the flowers, food, attendance at the Celebration of Bob’s Life and donations to various charities.
The outpouring of love and support has been unbelievable and beautiful. Bob is looking down knowing the values he imparted to his family touched many people during his life. I am sure he is in awe of the kindness and friendship directed to his loved ones. This strengthened us for the incredibly difficult and sad journey over the past couple of weeks.
Special memories of our best friend and knowing that so many individuals recognize Bob for the quiet, kind, honest, humble and patient man he was, will serve as an inspiration to our family for the rest of our lives.
With our sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone. Special thanks to Craig Williams (McCall Bros.).
Thanks for Your Love and Support
Wendy, Ed, Jeff & the rest of our family
