Dear Mrs. Scherr and Family,

It was with great sadness that I learned of Dick’s passing. I’m sorry he didn’t have the chance to enjoy more of his retirement with his wonderful family.

Dick was very good to my family and I will never forget his patience and kindness after my mother Joyce Brown passed away. In the difficult times ahead, I am sure it will console you some to know how many people had such great regard for Dick.
