Born on March 30, 1919 in Victoria, BC, peacefully passed into the presence of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on January 16, 2009 in Victoria, BC. Survived by relatives in the UK and Canada and dear friends, the Ljubojevic family, Milan, Elizabeth, Marie and Laurie. Rachel (Rae) worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs for 38 years, retiring in 1976. She later became a devoted foster mother to 3 girls and an influential friend to others.





A Memorial Service will be held at Central Baptist Church, 833 Pandora Avenue, on Thursday, January 22nd, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC, #107 – 1001 Cloverdale Avenue, Victoria, BC V8X 4C9 or to The Gideons, 501 Imperial Road North, Guelph, Ontario, N1H 7A2.
