Phyllis and I send our deep felt condolences to the three of you and your families; Peter and Pat were great neighbours and friends with whom we shared many happy hours, especially during our retirement years. Pat was always an informative source for neighbourhood news and we used to kid her about our dependence on her for “the latest”-and not to forget her chocolate chip cookies which often arrived in return for small favours. Peter always impressed with his cabinet-maker skills and his facility with building and operating computers. From the two of them, we had the pleasure of hearing about your spouses and children and their activities, and accomplishments. For the last several years, the delivery of Peter’s coffee from Costco was always a welcome occasion to have a good chat with him–we covered a lot of the world’s issues, but more importantly had a mutual interest in discussing our early years growing up on opposite sides of Canada. On about the last visit, he revealed that he was reading up on quantum physics!–a new retirement hobby! Wow!

All our memories are good ones, and we miss them both.
