Stefica passed suddenly on April 14, 2016 in Victoria. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Lovro Sajko and her sister, Marica Gospocic and brother, Marijan Hren. Stefica (“Baka”) was born on January 2, 1941 in Srsici, Croatia and is survived by her son, Marijan (Sandra); daughters, Mirjana (Franjo) and Nada (Tugo); her grandchildren, Nikola, Katica, Alexsei and Stefanie; her brothers, Marko Hren and Joza Hren and sister, Branka Duksi in Croatia.
Baka loved her family, friends and church, and will be forever remembered for her warm and welcoming nature.
Prayers will be offered at St. Leopold B. Mandic Church, 4081 Gordon Head Road, on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Leopold B. Mandic on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Royal Oak Burial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC and Yukon.
