With sadness, we announce the death of Roy. He was born in Vancouver and raised in Blue River, BC.  He was predeceased by his brother, Bob and sister-in-law, Illa and leaves behind his wife, Gerry of 62 years; daughters Karen (Mike), Andrea; son, Blake (Eun Hay) and granddaughter, Kiara.

Roy was a man of the outdoors.  He lived to fish, hunt and garden.  He joined the Navy in 1947 and retired in 1978.  He then worked at the Coast Guard, repairing light houses.

The family would like to thank the staff at Selkirk Place for their kind care.  Special thanks to the staff on the fourth floor and also thanks to Dr. Hartford.

There will be no service at Roy’s request.
