Paul Durand, born on August 8, 1931, passed away peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on July 22, 2016. He was predeceased by his first wife, Wilhemina and his daughter, Denise. Left to mourn his loss, is his second wife, Hazel and his children, Debbie (Dale), Richele (Gordon) and his stepchildren, Graham (Allison), Paul and Heather (Robert); six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Paul was a gifted self taught musician. He had many careers throughout his lifetime, the final one being a commercial mortgage broker. He would never give up but would persevere and improvise until the task was accomplished.
Visitation will be held at McCall’s Downtown, Johnson & Vancouver Streets, from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm on Tuesday, July 26, 2016. We will celebrate his life together at Gateway Baptist Church, 898 Royal Oak Avenue, Victoria, BC at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 27, 2016. Refreshments will follow at the Church.
