Passed away peacefully on November 23, 2015.  She was born in Southport, England on March 27, 1927.  Predeceased by her sister, Joyce, Margaret is survived by her husband, Vernor; sons, Craig (Paula) and Malcolm (Marnie); sister, Lovice (David); niece, Glynis (Robert); nephew, Michael (Janet) and grandchildren, Steven, Greg and Laura.  She will also be missed by the staff at James Bay Care Centre and Glenwarren Lodge.  In addition to her life’s service to her family and friends, Margaret served in the British Army in WWII with the Signals Corp., during which time she became an expert at deciphering Morse Code (which fascinated her sons to no end) and for which service, was awarded the British War Medal.

An informal memorial will be held at Revera James Bay Care Centre, 336 Simcoe Street in Victoria on Monday, November 30, at 1:00 pm.  Condolences may be offered to the family below.

    To Vernor, Malcolm, Craig and family, my sincerest condolences for your loss. I have many fond memories of growing up with my best friend Malcolm and hanging out at the McAdie house. Margaret is likely the kindest person I ever met and I am certain she will be missed by many.
