I have had the pleasure of getting to know Doris this past 5 years. She is a joy-giver who loves God and people. I am blessed each time I visit her at Luther Court. Happy that she is now fully in the presence of the Lord.

I met Doris many years ago when I first attended Oaklands Chapel.
It was so important to feel welcome in a new home church and Doris did more then her share to make me feel welcome. I will remember her first and foremost for her devotion to the Lord which poured out on others in a wonderful smile and kind words.
It has been a pleasure to share in the love of the Lord with her
and as promised I will see her again in glory.

I first met Doris when she and Cyril returned on furlough with the family and attended Knox Church Toronto. I believe I was on furlough too, so our lives just intersected briefly. When I had a role as OMF Retiree Care co-ordinator, Lynn arranged a lovely get together with Doris at Luther Court. I am so grateful for that visit. For any years I have been praying daily for OMF retirees, and thank God for the way He has sustained Doris and made her such a blessing to her family and friends.
