Omg!! I have been looking for you for years to know how you were doing. The last time I saw you is at 16 years ago at my parents place in Courtenay.
You see Delmar and I are only 8 months apart and kind of grew apart as well. I knew you got married and had the 1st girl.
But to see you have passed away is really sad. Say hello to your mother (Joyce). R.I.P
    My condolences to his family.

My sincerest condolences to Del’s family. I worked with Del at Vic Coal until 2003 and came to know him a little better as he became my “chauffeur” to and from the bank to do the daily bank deposit. I’m not sure which of us was more pleased with this arrangement – me, because of the door to door service or Del, for the break from the tools! He was always respectful and considerate, a real gentleman, and helped make my work day a little easier and pleasant……..Thanks, Del……….Nola

This picture is such a perfect one showing who Delmar was. He was such a kind, gentle man. He was always ready to be there for people and lend a hand. He was always ready to smile and be a true friend. We were very blessed to be one of his neighbours. He will be very much missed.
