Dear Peter and John-

We have just returned from six weeks on the boat and were so sorry to hear that your mum passed away in June. We used to enjoy bumping into Norah in Sidney or when she was out walking and getting caught up on the “Cooks’ news”. Please accept our sincere condolences.

I was so saddened to hear last night that Norah had passed away. I knew her through the quilt guild and so enjoyed and appreciated her support. It was also always a pleasure to run into Norah in Sidney from time to time. Please accept my condolences on your loss. Norah was always kind and gracious and engaging and she will be missed.

I am very saddened to hear of Norah’s passing. She seemed so happy at our last guild meeting, telling me about her quilt cruise to Hawaii. Norah was a big part of the quilters guild and she will be dearly missed. My condolences and thoughts to Norah’s family. Take care.

I was so sorry to read of your Mother’s passing. She had been very kind to keep in touch with me since my own mother passed away in Mar ’07 (Kay Cleghorn) I had 2 books on my counter to give to her and was going to be calling her. When last we spoke which was probably in early May she mentioned this author.
You are in my thoughts at this time and know all your fond memories will bring you peace. Your Mom was a sweet lady and she will be missed by those who knew her well.

We were so sad to hear of dear Norah’s passing. Please accept our deepest sympathy. When we first came to live here four years ago she was one of the first to warmly welcome us into the community. Since then she has been a wonderful neighbour; someone we could always talk to. We always enjoyed our chats with her either on the phone or over the garden fence. As someone so proud of her own family we always found it so easy to talk to her about own family. We shall miss her dearly. We are sorry that we shall not be able to attend her funeral service today but our thoughts are with you and with Norah.

I have known Norah for a few years through our quilting cruises. She joined us in Alaska & just recently in Hawaii and was a wonderful part of our groups.
