IN LOVING MEMORY OF OUR BELOVED MOTHER,

GRANDMOTHER AND GREAT GRANDMOTHER

BORN SEPTEMBER 18, 1918   PASSED AWAY APRIL 24, 2015

Born in Viking, Alberta to her Polish father Jack and Swedish mother, Amelia, Myrtle was predeceased by two infant children and her husband of many years, Gordon in 1988.  She leaves to mourn her brother Jack, children, Marjorie Mergens (Peter), Joan Nieman, Gail Koller, Paul, Marie, Jim, Bob and Gerry Fletcher. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren, Jacquie, Lorraine, Christina, Charlie, Mathew, Amber, Ashley, Angela, Brendan, Selena, Paul, Cody, Shayla, Joey, Tony, Paul, Laura, Mary-Beth, Mike and Cole and Logan.  She also leaves behind her precious great-grandchildren, Trenton, Miranda, Ciarra, Logan, Nicholas, Sofia, Mia-Blue, and newest twins Abigail and Julian. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Our Mother was a strong matriarch who even through adversity, clung to her religious beliefs and supported the Catholic Church for many decades.  She was very involved with the Catholic Women’s League, hosting many fundraisers throughout her entire life. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for her children, grandchildren or her church right up until shortly before her death. She was a wonderful cook able to feed her large family on limited funds.  She taught us honesty, good work ethics, sticking with tasks and not giving up.  She loved her grandchildren with her heart and soul and each one carries special memories of that unconditional love.

We will miss you, Mom and Grandma,

but you will forever be in our hearts.

We Love you,

All of Us,    XO
