November 19, 1965 – June 9, 2014
Murray was predeceased by his father David and is survived by his mother Shirley; sister Pamela; brother Ian; Aunt Bev; nieces Heather and Bronwyn; nephew Ross and cousins. A gentle man who loved and respected all living things, especially the birds about us and the trees that are their nesting places and protection. Our thanks to the paramedics and staff of Royal Jubilee Hospital for the care they gave him. He is now at peace with his beloved Dad.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice. Condolences may be offered to the family below.

Dear Shirley and Pam,
It’s only just now that I found out about David, Ian and Murray’s passing.
I was doing a search online when I discovered the news.
I am deeply saddened and sorry for the loss of these three wonderful members of your family.
I have many fond memories of our occasional family visits to your home in West Van, and I am very sorry that my family lost touch with yours.
To learn that they are no longer with you is a terrible shock.
David was a fine man, as were both Murray and Ian, who were also two of the kindest, most gentle people I ever had the honour of meeting and getting to know.
I sincerely wish that our families had stayed in contact with each other.
Please know that I hope that the both of you are well, and that I very much hope to be able to see/speak to you sometime in the near future.
