Murray was born in Binscarth, Manitoba on February 2, 1917 and passed away peacefully in Victoria, BC on April 6, 2014. Predeceased by wife, Beatrice, he is survived by his children, John (Barb), Beryl (Chris); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and grand-dogs. Murray was the oldest and newest member of the Royal Canadian Legion – Trafalgar/Pro Patria Branch #292. Many thanks to Dr. R.D. Nicoll and staff at Broadmead Lodge A1.
Funeral Service will be held at McCall’s Downtown, Johnson & Vancouver Streets at 1:00 pm on Monday, April 28, 2014. Private Burial at Royal Oak Burial Park. Flowers gratefully declined. Please make donations to Broadmead Care Society, Veterans Health Centre.

So sorry to read of your fathers passing in the Times Colonist. I remember him from the old Esquimalt Little League days. Your dad was involved with the league executive I believe. Those were great times. I will mention to Miles about the sad news when I speak to him lather this week.
