January 16, 1918 – April 8, 2014
Beloved and loving daughter of Thomas and Margaret Campbell and lifetime citizen of Victoria. Muriel leaves behind her cousin, Sandy Campbell and his family as well as cousins in South Africa. She also leaves behind good friends, Irene Drummond, Vivian Simpson, Aletha Kochuk and her family. Muriel had a long and happy life, working for much of it at George Paulin Travel Agency. She also loved to play pool, go to the opera and watch her Toronto Blue Jays and Vancouver Canucks. She was a gentle, kind and generous soul, who took a warm interest in the lives of friends and family. She contributed to numerous charitable causes.
