Please accept my condolences on the death of your mother. I remember well the years our families shared on Parkdale ave. As a physiotherapist, I had the pleasure of working with her at the Ottawa Hospital. Her hard work resulted in a world-class rehab facility at the Heart Institute. She was a great lady and I admired her very much.

  5. Valerie and Don Paquet says:

Dear Fred – our most heartfelt condolences on the loss of your beloved Mary. She was such a wonderful friend to our mom, Joyce Jacobsen, whom we lost less than a year ago. We will always be thankful that she and mom became immediate friends all those years ago when mom moved into the condominium. I know she was the light of your life as well, and we are truly saddened that she has passed on. Thankfully, you have other family close by to support you at this time and to provide continuing joy in your life. Please know that our kindest thoughts are for you at this time.
    Val & Don

To the kids, grand- and great grandkids we know you will miss her so much. The whole world will.
We are holding you in our thoughts and prayers.
    Love from Mary and Ian

    Dear Clinckett Family
I would like to add my condolences on the loss of such a grand lady. I have many fond memories of life on Parkdale Ave. Jane, you and I spent many hours together and I can’t forget the look we would get when we did something wrong. She never yelled but we knew we were in trouble. She sure made the best oatmeal cookies.
Jane if you are still in Ottawa please give me a call and we can get together and remember old times. We are still in Mallorytown. Love to all of you Renee

She will always hold a very special place in my heart and mind. We will miss her greatly. Sincerely Wilbert & Anne

    Dear Fred and family,

It is with deep regret than we learned of Mary’s death. It was with great pleasure that we spent some time with her in our visit to Victoria in August 2009. It was important for me to meet her and thank her not only because of her expertise and excellent care she gave to our patients at the Cardiac Unit, but also because she was a source of inspiration on how to be a warm doctor.
    Thank you Mary
