Mark Lloyd Douglass, May 24, 1960 – Oct 1, 2009
Mark passed away suddenly on October 1, 2009 due to heart failure. He will be missed by many family, friends and co workers as he was a caregiver for both young and old while employed.
He is survived by his Daughter Brittney, Mother Janet Kuntsi, Father Lloyd Douglass, Sister Tina Van’t Schip (Ron), Sister Kari Bond, Brother Darren Karpuik (Wendy), Sister Lori Ost (Dan), many nieces and nephews and other extended family members.
A celebration of Mark’s life will be held on Saturday, October 10th in Victoria BC at the Mustard Seed Street Church, 625 Queens Ave 1:30PM-4:00PM. Those attending are requested to bring a snack for the tea to follow.

Mark was our friend for many years. Larry Met him thou the church they both belonged to.
I met Mark when we both belonged to the Star Teens Square Dance club.
Only to have a Mark be our Best Man at our wedding 26 years ago.

I have a brother Marks age.
Mark helped me over my initial hump of internet business set up. He was very patient with me in helping me get established. He enabled me to get a grounding and understanding in the workings of certain internet aspects.

I am completely blown away to learn today November 11, 2009
that Mark is no longer with us. Mark was a member in the same
GDI Team with outstanding Internet knowledge. His knowledge and capability of how well he understands Network Marketing was evident when you see what he was capable of doing with his advertisement on the Internet. He was highly respected by team members and will be dearly missed.

I just receive an email from Kevin Sousa that Mark had passed and I was very sadden because what is to lose someone you were close to and loved. It is always hard when a loved one and a friend passes. I did not know Mark that well, but it does not matter, I saw his Marketing expertise as I put my ads out, Mark was all over the place, he was not only brilliant but very clever with his marketing skills.
Here is what I know and having Faith in Gods word, just as Jesus told his Disciples in John 11: 11-14 that their friend Lazarus has gone to rest, Jesus went on to better explain to his Disciples that Lazarus was Asleep In Death and that he was going to awake him meaning he was going to use the power and authority given him by his heavenly father to Resurrect Lazarus from death back to life, a fore gleam of the greater resurrection spoken of at
Acts 24:15 Paul spoke of his faith and belief in the resurrection
when he said ” I have hope toward God, which hope these (men) themselves also entertain that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous”
The word resurrection means a literal standing up again
Jesus speaking to Martha the sister of Lazarus made this sobering statement at John 11:25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me , even though he dies , WILL come back to life”
So in short Mark is asleep in death awaiting the time when Jesus will awaken him back to life, what a wonderful hope and provision God has provided for those who have passed and for his loved ones and friends who miss him.
