March 22, 1929 – May 15, 2015
Mom was born on March 22, 1929 in Daysland, Alberta to Regina and Gus Gaudet. Marge was the youngest daughter of three beautiful girls – her sisters being Evelyn and Grace. The family moved to Edmonton and in 1948 Mom met the love of her life, Roy, they married shortly thereafter. They were blessed with four children, Morry, Linda, Brian and Terry. Their household was happy and full of love and laughter. Mom began working outside the home for Gamache Oil Well Services which later became Alberta Gold Well Servicing. Sadly, Dad passed away too young in 1984. Through this difficult time, Mom was a pillar of strength for her children and although her heart was broken she continued to be a source of encouragement for her family. Mom retired in 1989 from her role as office manager and moved to Brentwood Bay to be close to her daughter Linda and sisters, Evelyn and Grace. Terry and her family joined her in 1990 and Morry moved from Ottawa a number of years later.
Lovingly remembered by her children and grandchildren; Morry, Kate and Shalana; Linda, Ryan, Arden, Alyssa and Landen; Brian, Diane, Rob, Bonny, Ashton, Isaac, Becky, Kyle, and Hunter; and Terry, Mike, Jordan, Megan, and Jenna.
Mom was a strong, independent and gracious lady. Her beautiful blue eyes and bright smile touched so many people. She was without a doubt a most gracious, caring lady and a beautiful soul.
