Roy, my thoughts are with you and yours.

So sad to hear that Marion passed away. I owe my middle name to her as Roy and Marion were dear friends of my
parents. They met in Morseby House which was post war living quarters. There wasn’t a lot of room for the numerous families and sharing was a daily necessity. Each with 2 children of similar age the two families grew close and moved on to live across the street from one another on Forbes St. I wasn’t around right away but I loved listening to the funny stories that came from that time. Margaret and Wayne with the snakes…!!??
Great times were had on Carmen St every Boxing Day. I think I was introduced to Pimm’s #5 (cucumber) then.
Roy and Marion also hosted Mom and Dad’s 25th anniversary.
I’m sorry I didn’t make more personal contact other than the exchange of Christmas cards. I always enjoyed
Marion’s Christmas Letter which kept me in touch with what was going on. I did wonder when I didn’t get on
this year. Not a wurprise though I guesss as last year’s letter started off with “our health is getting worse, but enough of that!” That’s what I remember, Marion’s great spirit and love of life. She’ll be missed by mayny.
    Love,
    Kathleen MARION Newell
