January 14, 1920 – June 2, 2015

Born in Montreal, Quebec, Margaret passed away peacefully at Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria.  She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 49 years, Leonard Edmondson and her daughter-in-law, Carole.   She is survived by her children, Warren (Cathy), Bev (Tom) Scharien, and Barry.  She was deeply loved by her grandchildren, Jill, Mark (Angela), Craig (Anna), Brad (Nicole), Mike (Jen), Kyle and 5 great-grandchildren.

Margaret dedicated her life to her family which was her pride and joy.  She lived life to the fullest, enjoyed nothing more than a good laugh, a round of golf or a game of bridge with her friends.  She will be remembered for her kindness, her warmth and her infectious smile.

The family wishes to thank the dedicated doctors, nurses and staff of the Royal Jubilee Hospital Oncology Centre, Hospice, as well as Dr. R. Grimwood.

A Memorial Service and Reception will be held at Sequoia Gardens Memorial, 4665 Falaise Drive at 9:30 am on Friday, June 5, 2015. Interment will follow at Royal Oak Burial Park.  There will be a reception at Sequoia Gardens prior to the interment.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Victoria Hospice.
