My condolences to your family. Your mother was one of the first people I ever met when I came to St. Luke’s church in 2003 and later I interviewed her for our parish newsletter. She was quite an inspiration to me, always thoughtful, caring and thinking of others. She will be missed.

Dear Bill, Dave, Don and Lynne:

Please accept my condolences on the death of your dear mom Margaret. Margaret was love, kindness and caring personified. She was a wonderful example of a stellar human being who practised what she believed in. She has left this world but she will never be forgotten. Anyone would have been honoured to have had a mother like her. She was a SPECIAL LADY.

  9. Lois Fernyhough says:

Hi Bill, Don, David, Lynne and your families,

I just found out about your Mom passing away. I have very fond chldhood memories of growing up next door to your family. I remember your Mom making us lunch of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and of her getting mad at me for eating the peas in the vegetable garden you had behind the house! And of course the kittens your cat had, and getting one of them (Timmy) for our family.

I wish I had been able to attend the service yesterday but I did not find out in time to do so. My thoughts are with you and I know you have wonderful memories of your own to draw on.

    Take care,
    Lois

  10. Neil Fernyhough says:

Lois told me about your mum’s death. My thoughts are with you all. I have such great memories of her from our childhood – chiefly of her being such a lovely and gentle presence in our neighbourhood. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you.

    Blessings
    Neil Fernyhough
