Margaret was born on September 2, 1929 in Victoria, BC and passed away at Gorge Road Hospital in Victoria on May 25, 2015. She was predeceased by her parents, Bert and Muriel Leggett; son, Randy and her brothers, Bertie, Bill and Jim. She leaves her son, Brian, cousin, Maureen and friends. Margaret loved her fishing at Sooke until health problems arose. She will be remembered for her preschool in Langford. Special thanks to the staff at Gorge Waterview.

Lyin I was in Mrs. Pedden’s preschool 34 years ago. I remember her for all the neat things she did with us….the sheep, her cornmeal “sandbox’, letting us finger paint with pudding (so we could lick our fingers) and making necklaces with Cheerios (Fruit Loops as we’d been very good!). She was a neat lady and I’ll always remember my time with her fondly.
My sister, my cousins and I all went to Mrs. Pedden’s preschool. She was always such a caring person and always remembered us long after we were grown. I will remember all the happy times we had with her. She will be missed by many.
