    Doreen was a friend I felt privleged to know. I always marvelled at how much she enjoyed her dog, her friends, her neighbours, her neighbourhood and life. She had a wonderful laugh and if one’s life is judged by attitude then she had one of the most successful lives of anyone I’ve know. Even though I had moved away and mostly lost touch with her I will miss her greatly and am saddened just knowing she won’t be there when I stop by with some chocolate to have a tea with her and her devoted dog.
