Louise was born in Ottawa on May 31, 1922. She died at home in Victoria on April 28, 2015. She was married to John Daniel Runkle in Ottawa in 1946. Predeceased by her husband of 63 years on December 4, 2009. Louise is survived by her sons, John (Susan) and David; grandsons, Andrew and Nicholas; sister-in-law, Penny Burd and many nieces and nephews. She loved her family dearly and had several attractive homes and gardens over the years in Hudson (PQ), Montreal, Sydney (Australia), Denman Island and Victoria. She had many dear friends along the way. The family would like to thank Dr. Geoff Inman for his care and compassion as well as Vicky Ha for her years of caregiving and companionship.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 3821 Cedar Hill Cross Road on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 10:30 am followed by a reception in the church hall.
