Kathleen passed away peacefully at her home in Victoria at the age of 81. She was predeceased by her daughter, Elizabeth Meyer; brother, Peter Bryce; sister, Maureen Moriarty and brother in law, John Rickaby. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Alexandra Magnussen (Earl) and Victoria Illes; sons, Robert Mark Shirley (Tammy) and John Shirley (Julie); ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild; sisters, Patricia Barrett, Jean Rickaby, Therese Nishimura (Harry); brother, William Bryce (Maureen); sister-in-law, Joy Bryce and many extended family members and friends. The family would like to thank Kay’s caregivers for the exceptional care they provided over the last few months.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Parish, 2060 Haultain Street, on Wednesday, May 13 at 1:30pm with a reception to follow in the Parish Hall. Condolences may be offered to the family below.
