Dear Peter & Family, our sincere condolences on the passing of your wife/mother. Although many years have gone by and may have lost contact, we have not forgotten the good memories we had in Ft.McMurray. We remember Kathy and her sense of humour as well as your wonderful “little boys ” whom I’ve had the privilege of teaching. May you be consoled in knowing that she is now resting in peace where there is no more suffering and sadness.

Our very best regards to all of you.

Mrs. Hobbs was a best friend to our Mother and a loved fixture in our family. Her boys were our boys and our family was her family. There are so many cherished memories during those years in old Fort Mac, and later as well – many that we don’t even know about.

Kathy leaves behind a wonderful husband, sons, daughters-in-law, and the many friends she touched throughout her life.

I can just imagine Kathy and Joey kicking up the heels in Heaven and having a good ol’ laugh….

Best Regards to you all and God Bless,

    The O’Brien Family

Peter and Family: Bruce and I would like you to accept our deepest sympathy at the loss of a wonderful wife and mother. I knew Kathleen when she was a little girl and I will always remember her lovely smile (some would say cheeky grin) and mischievous eyes. She was always full of pranks and lots of fun. We all loved her very much. Right now I’m sure she’s having lots of fun with the angels and can’t wait to give you great warm hugs on your arrival home. Remember she is looking after all of you now as you looked after her. God be with you all at this time.
