May 2, 1946 – February 9, 2014
With heavy hearts we say goodbye to our Mom, Nana, sister and friend. Kathy went to be with Dad, the love of her life, Pete. We are relieved that she is now finally free of pain and at rest. Survived by Susan (Norm), Dave (Jo), brothers Donnie and David (Lorraine), and her beloved grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Dave Johnston, Rosie, Carlaine, Alma and Mary, Dr. J. Bosman and the wonderful staff at Saanich Peninsula Hospital.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 15th, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at McCall’s, 1400 Vancouver Street. No flowers by request. Condolences may be offered to the family below.

I have just become aware of the passing of my high school friend Kathy and will miss her very much. She had been in my thoughts often but we lost contact nearly 20 years ago. I remember double dating in high school with her and Peter, who was also at UBC for one year while I was there. I remember how happy they both were at the birth of Susan and David. I know they will be much missed. Belated condolences to the family.
