My condolences to the Cabecinha family. I worked with Joe for many years at the agricultural research station. He was an extremely skilled plant propagator and a gentleman. He will be missed.

I am very sad to hear of Jose’s passing. I worked with “Joe” at the Canadian Agricultural Research Station from 1984 until his retirement. I had nothing but total respect for him as a person and his remarkable ability for growing plants. He was always willing to teach his techniques, but to this day, I don’t believe there has been anyone at the Research Station that has matched his abilities. His gentle manner and quiet sense of humour made him an absolute pleasure to work with.

I offer my deep condolences to his family.

    Sincerely,

    Carol Masters
