July 13, 1927 – December 3, 2014
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Severyn. Dad leaves Jean, his loving wife of 67 years, as well as his children Dana, Brent (Val), Nancy and devoted nephew Len Dyson. Grandchildren Jeff (Sarah), Dan (Rachelle), Jaime (Kevin), Kerri (Chris), Reed (Gina), Ryan (Robyn), Russell (Kayleigh), Barrett (Kara) and eight great grandchildren. Also, sisters Ollie and Mary and brother Orest. Predeceased by his brother Bill.
Dad said “I had the best job in the world” for his 43 year career with Via Rail, travelling Canada and meeting wonderful people.
