Sincere thanks and big hugs to all of the angels who cared for mom.

Maria Cabrera (Hartnell) Dear Angie and Lisa
I share with you, the final sense of a loss of a mother; your mother Janice.
Though I had not had the pleasure of seeing your mother in several years, I will always remember her as a beautiful, lively and fun woman.I am writing to you from Mexico, where I now live and have prayed to the Virgen de Guadalupe that Janice is now in the land of the roses.
With Love
Maria

Gregory Hartnell Janice loved to have a good laugh, especially at the expense of pretentious politicians.
I remember vividly visiting her at her apartment overlooking Saint Anne’s Academy, during the long-drawn out saga of Saint Anne’s.
As both of us were former students of the Sisters of Saint Anne, Jan and I could see the tragedy of what happened there, and still be able to laugh about it, as an instance of human folly.
She was a gorgeous beauty who loved life, loved Uncle Herb’s and our Father Peter’s mother, our dearly departed grandmother who we all call ‘Baba’ and she even travelled with Baba to exotic places…
May Janice’s exuberant spirit remain with us now on earth in our own spirits sand memories as she is greeted by The Holy Spirit forever.
