It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jim McDonald.  Jim leaves his loving wife of 67 years, Betty; his daughters, Donna (Graeme), Maureen (Rob) and Gayle; his 6 grandchildren, Deanna (Jim), Dan (Coral), Laura, Katherine, Jennifer (Derrick) and Bryan and his 10 great-grandchildren, Travis, Josh, Ali, Georgia, Ashley, Sierra, Tyla, Hayley, Kayla and Dakota.  Jim loved Shawnigan Lake, Maui and Arizona.  He was passionate about gardening, boating, sports and volunteering to help others throughout the community.  He was penalty time keeper for both the Victoria Cougars and Victoria Shamrocks for 35 years.  He loved his family and was a kind and gentle man.  He will be dearly missed.  The family would like to thank the great staff on Jubilee 6 South for their wonderful care!

No service by Jim’s request.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated.  Condolences may be offered to the family below.

    Dear Betty & Family
Just a short note to express our sympathy to you & your family. It was a bit of a shock to learn of Mac’s passing even though we were aware that he had been ill for some time. We can all be grateful for the years he was with us and the many active years you two had together. While we didn’t see much of you two over the years it was always enjoyable when we did get together.

Take Care Love Jack, Eric & Lil Rossiter
