April 2, 1921 – March 16, 2015
Jim was predeceased by his wife, Violet (Vi) in 1993. He is survived by his friend for many years, Merle Jackson; his sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Bader and two nephews, Daryl and Gary.
Jim was born and raised in Winnipeg. He met Vi in Halifax and married there. They lived in Winnipeg, Edmonton and moved to Victoria in 1972. Jim had a quick wit and sense of humour. He was a long time member of Cedar Hill Golf Club and golfed every day until the last year. Jim greeted everyone with a smile and good word. He enjoyed his golf and bridge games. Jim loved life and loved to dance. You will be sadly missed my friend.
