  • Miskulin Family of 852 Caterbury Road

We are so saddened to hear of Jacqui’s passing. Our hearts go out to the entire family at this time.
We had our 30th “anniversary” of moving onto Canterbury Road just three days after her passing, and spent time at the dinner table that evening talking fondly of her.
Jacqui’s advise about our new gardens, her curiosity about any renovations going on in the neighbourhood and her inquiries after our three children were stated with kind words and true sentiment. She was a lovely lady, a warm neighbour and special ambassador for Canterbury Road.
Jacqui will be sorely missed by all who came in contact with her,.
Again our condolences to the family. With heartfelt thanks for sharing her with us in this wonderful neighbourhood.

Our deepest sympathies for Jacqueline’s family. Jacqueline was our neighbour since 2007. She tended to our community, as she tended to her garden. She held watch over our neighbourhood, nurtured our children as they grew, and brought such beauty and comfort to our lives. We will be forever grateful to have had Jacqueline in our lives, and will miss her dearly.

    Dear Jacqueline,

Your sudden assention to the heavenly realm has been difficult. We offer our deepest condolences to your dear family and pray that God will give them strength and solace. Thank you for making us feel like family for your joyful visits and sharing your garden. Our family always enjoyed the pleasant chats over the fence, your kind encouragement, wisdom and love that your generously shared. We wish that we could have had more years together. Though we are physically apart, we know that your world is part of our world and that the souls in heaven maintain ties with their loved ones and watch over them much like the ties between the fetus, in the world of the womb (darkness) and its parents in the world of light. You will always be in our hearts.

Dear Patrick (Cindy), Michael (Chris), Anne (John), and Monique (Peter). Please let us know if we can assist in any way.
    Love sincerely

  • Arlene Turner

My deepest sympathy to the family of Jacqueline. She was such a wonderful lady. We talked often and went on walks together around the neighborhood. She will be dearly missed.

  • Wei Family

Our deepest sympathies for the Pommelet family on the loss of Jacqueline, our neighbour and good friend.

We have lived as Jacqueline’s next door neighbour since 2007. In that time, Jacqueline treated us like family and took delight in watching our girls grow, attended their dance performances, showed them (and us) how to tend to our garden. We shared many wonderful moments chatting as we worked in the garden or sharing a glass of wine or tea in our patio or the kitchen. Through those conversations, we got to know Jacqueline as a “glass half full” kind of a person with a calm appreciation of life and love of nature.

Jacqueline was an independent woman and carried herself with much humility and dignity – a great example for the rest of us to follow. There was always a joy about her as she wandered about outside, tending to her beloved gardens or taking walks in the neighbourhood.

We are very much saddened by Jacqueline’s sudden passing. She was a blessing in our lives that we will always appreciate and remember.
