Born on April 18, 1939. Passed away peacefully on January 30, 2015. Predeceased by his wife Caterina (2014), he will be remembered by his sons Maurizio (Karen) and Massimo (Jackie); grandchildren Jaida, Matteo and Maya; brother Roberto (Irene); niece Laura and nephews Simone and Luca. We would like to thank Dr. David Bell, VIHA staff and Victoria Hospice.
There will be a Memorial Mass at St. Andrew’s Cathedral on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Victoria Hospice Society.

It was with great sadness that I read of Ivano’s passing. I will always remember my friendly chats with “Papa” on my daily visits to the shop, his great sense of humour, and his even greater pride in all of you – his family.
I often like to say “it’s a bad day if you don’t learn something”. It was always a good day when I saw Ivano, because I always learned something from him!

Micaela Serra Your father Ivano was a great friend to me and to my parents whenever they came to visit me from Milano. Ivano and my father grew up in the same town in Veneto and Ivano’s smile always opened up my heart. Coming to the store to see him and Cathy was a highlight, and so was having coffee with him at the wonderful Macchiato in the last few years.
